Charlotte began her insurance career with TWIA Insurance Agency’s sister agency, Kinghorn Insurance of Beaufort, in 2013. She became the Commercial Lines Department Manager for both Kinghorn Insurance of Beaufort and TWIA Insurance Agency in Summerville in 2018. In 2020, Charlotte earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and became a Partner at TWIA Insurance Agency’s Greenville office.
In her community, Charlotte has held several leadership roles with the Junior Service League of Beaufort and is currently involved with the United Way of the Lowcountry’s Women United Steering Committee. Within the insurance industry, Charlotte is passionate about empowering women in leadership. She participates in the Women’s Agency Leadership Initiative through Selective Insurance Company, a collaborative effort focused on advancing women in the industry, and serves on two Selective Insurance Producer Councils.
Charlotte and her husband, Tyler, are members of First Presbyterian Church of Beaufort and proud parents to their son, Henry, and daughter, Kate. On weekends, Charlotte enjoys spending time “back home” in Cameron, SC, on her family’s cotton and peanut farm, or boating with friends in Beaufort, playing outside with her kids, and staying active through exercise.
She is grateful for her encouraging, fun, and hardworking team and cannot imagine working anywhere else!
